The room was clean, spacious, and nicely organized, and dinner at the restaurant felt like fine dining. The staff were so polite and helpful. Just after we checked in, they called to offer us a free room upgrade because of a cancellation, which I really appreciated. For a 3-star pension, it deserves 5 stars. Bravo to the chef. I’m sure I’ll come back. Highly recommended, thank you!

I only realized I’d missed writing this review last year when I was looking up something else. We had a fantastic stay in Salzburg. The host was incredibly friendly, the rooms were nice, and the food was great. I highly recommend staying here.

We picked this hotel for our 30th wedding anniversary, and it was a great choice. Our room is spacious and clean, with lovely mountain views from the beautiful setting. The hosts are excellent, and breakfast is included with plenty to choose from. The restaurant is closed, but since we’re in Salzburg each day, we eat out before coming back. Free bus travel is available, and the stop is only a two-minute walk away.

We were grateful that there was no parking charge. It’s a beautiful little inn in a great location. The only issue for us was the bathroom, which needed a more thorough cleaning. We always check the beds and bathrooms with a black light. Apart from that, it’s a great little place.

We loved unwinding by the pool, and having bikes available was a real highlight. We rode through the forest and along quiet country paths to the palace, one of our favorite things to do. Pension Blobergerhof is in a peaceful, scenic spot just outside the city, and it’s easy to reach central Salzburg with a short walk to the bus stop. Our room was comfortable, clean, and spacious, with lovely mountain views from the balcony. Breakfast was fresh and had lots of choice. The dinner we had was among the best food we ate in Austria. This charming family-run guesthouse gave us everything we’d hoped for and more. We were sorry to leave and hope we can come back soon.
