After a day on the slopes, the sauna and relaxation area were a real oasis. The hotel is spotless, with well-kept rooms and stunning mountain views, and it’s very close to the gondola so getting to the ski runs is quick. The staff were warm and polite, and made it clear that every guest mattered. We loved the tasty breakfasts, delicious lunches and dinners, and exquisite desserts. It’s a perfect place for a winter ski break, and we’ll definitely return.

The positive reviews were completely accurate. I spent a great week hiking in Finkenberg in summer. My room was spotless, with a lovely shared balcony and a nicely updated bathroom. Breakfast was excellent, and the half-board dinner was really good, with a choice of vegetarian or meat, fish and other options. The Spar grocery below is handy for daytime supplies. I really appreciated the hospitality from the Steiner's and hope to return with my wife.

We loved our first stay here as a couple and would definitely consider coming back. The hotel offers good value, and the mom and daughter who run it are lovely. Much of the place has been renovated, giving it a nice mix of modern upgrades and authentic Austrian character. The location is great for skiing. The lift to Zillertal 3000 is within walking distance, and the green line ski bus and regular bus 4104 stop nearby, with hourly trips to Mayrhofen and Hintertux Gletscher. You can also ski from Finkenberg to Tux, where the sport bus to the Gletscher runs almost every 10 minutes. Guests get a free QR code for bus travel. Zillertal Arena and other areas are easy to reach by car. We tried several areas and liked Zillertal 3000 best. The slopes are generally quite steep, mostly red, so beginners might find them harder. Breakfast had a big choice of fruit, yoghurt, breads, eggs and cheeses. In the evening there’s a four-course menu, and you choose the main dish in the morning, with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. The food was super, and the drinks, including spritzers, were very nice too. You can use the small steam sauna or wooden sauna before dinner, then play pool or games in the cosy common area with its lovely crowd. Skis can be stored in the basement, where ski shoes can dry. There’s a Spar next to it for small things. Parking is right outside, and the hotel has electric vehicle charging for a reasonable fee, just bring your own cable. Thank you, Hotel Panorama!

We came from Australia to hike and enjoy the Zillertal in summer, and Hotel Panorama made the stay memorable. Our room was very spacious, probably because we were lucky enough to get an apartment, and the balcony was a great place to watch the mountains at sunset and dusk. The beautifully decorated restaurant served an extraordinary-value breakfast buffet and delicious four-course dinners, with one or two alcoholic drinks included. Katie, Christina and the rest of the staff welcomed us so warmly. I’ll be dreaming about the blueberry strudel for years!

I’ve stayed at the Panorama Hotel several times and have always felt looked after and welcome. It was fully renovated in 2020, and the rooms and hotel blend modern and traditional styles nicely. The breakfast has a good selection, and dinner has always been amazing, especially the desserts for someone with a sweet tooth like me. It’s around 200-300 metres from the Finkenberg ski lift, and the bus stop for Hintertux glacier is about 50 metres away. I can only recommend it.
