The location is convenient, not far from Faaker See, and the owners are friendly and helpful. Our children enjoyed the toys in the room beside reception and the trampoline in the garden. Breakfast was nice, though it was the same each morning, which mattered more since we stayed for a while. For just one night it wouldn’t have been a problem. We stayed in apartment 5. It was spacious, with two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen-living room, and we liked it. But it wasn’t clean: the sofa was dirty, there were stains on the carpet, and dust and cobwebs here and there. There were no blackout curtains in the bedrooms, and since the lodge is beside a main road, we could hear cars passing.

Four of us came with bicycles. It was quiet and peaceful, and we could store our bikes and even rinse them off with a hose.

The location is great, the food is good, and the owners were really nice and attentive. I do hope the room’s cleanliness was just an oversight by the cleaning staff. There were bugs inside, which is somewhat understandable since the lodge is in the woods and the door had been left open, plus spider webs on the toilet ceiling. The room wasn’t as clean or well maintained as we’d hoped.

We had a wonderful breakfast included. The small room worked well for one night, with a kettle in the room and a shared bathroom and toilet. It’s in the woods, there’s plenty of parking, and the prices are normal.

We spent our summer holiday here, although I think many people use it just as a stop on the way to Croatia. The owners are very nice and helpful, and speak English. The apartments are pleasant and clean, with perhaps older equipment, but we didn’t mind since we spent most days outside. There’s a trampoline and slide for small children. Breakfast was a very good buffet, with fresh bread and pastries, seasonal fruit, local jams, honey, yogurt, ham, and cheese. We also ate at the restaurant several times and can really recommend it. Faaker See beach is relatively close, but it’s a longer walk, so we drove with our small child.
