Karglhof - Villa

Faak is well connected by train and bus, and it was easy to reach Villach and Klagenfurt by public transport. The villa and Karglhof both have large, well-equipped playgrounds for children of all ages. We had perfect weather and made frequent, happy use of the private beach. We spent a very relaxing family holiday at Karglhof in August this year. We received a warm welcome, and the apartments were clean and in excellent condition. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. We’d gladly holiday here again and highly recommend Karglhof for families.

The Kargl family are nearly always at the main building and happy to help with anything. From our apartment in the Villa holiday home, it was a quiet base for exploring the region, with many options included in the map. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. We spent two weeks here with our two children. The house has a spacious garden with all sorts of play equipment, and there are even more play areas for kids in the main building, just 300 meters away. The private beach on Lake Faak is very well maintained, with plenty of loungers. It’s a bit of a walk with children, but easy to reach by bike or car, with parking right at the beach. The restroom and storage building there, including space for things like a stand-up paddleboard, is very convenient.

The kitchen is a little small, but that’s easy to overlook with excellent restaurants nearby. The Kargl family were great with restaurant recommendations and questions about attractions, and there’s a large, well-equipped playground at the main building. We had a wonderful week at Karglshof in a lakeside bungalow. It was exceptionally clean, around 150 meters from the lake and its private beach, and we felt completely at ease. The amenities, including Wi-Fi and TV, were good.

The Kargl family put so much care into looking after their guests, and it made our holiday in Carinthia feel special. We were comfortable the whole time, and the welcome was genuinely warm. The Karglhof (Villa) was just right, with everything from bread roll delivery to the private beach and big garden. We’ll definitely come back!
