We were delighted to find a vegan place to stay, and even more pleased that it serves an amazing three-course dinner. We'll be back, and would strongly recommend making the effort to stay at Haus 26 when visiting this part of Austria. It won't disappoint!

It's a wonderful little guesthouse with great vegan food. The hosts were flexible about our late arrival and early breakfast. A lovely base for skiing and ice skating.

We can't wait to return after a truly magical week here. The location is lovely for summer hiking, cycling and swimming, and looks like it would be fantastic for winter sports too. We stayed on half board, which was incredibly good value. Marieke and Bastiaan were splendid hosts, so kind, friendly and helpful. Nothing was too much trouble, including sharing hiking route advice and recommendations. The service was excellent throughout. Marieke's vegan cooking was out of this world, with tasty dishes inspired by cuisines from around the world. Everything was cooked and seasoned to perfection, and presented with meticulous detail. There was a wide range of guests during our week, with different dietary needs, including several people who weren't usually vegan, and everyone thought the food was amazing. They also had a good choice of organic wines, beers and cocktails.

The dinner at Haus26 was such a special experience that I'll be dreaming about it until we return. My husband and I reserved by email and got a quick, kind reply. I have a gluten allergy, but they assured me a gluten-free meal would be no problem. Bastiaan greeted us so warmly when we arrived. The dining room was beautifully set up, and since we were the only diners at the time, it felt romantic and private. The four courses were the most beautiful, flavorful vegan food I've ever had. I travel a lot and have eaten plenty of vegan meals, but if I could eat this every day, I'd be in heaven. I loved talking with the owners, Bastiaan and Marieke, who is the chef. Whether you're staying nearby or just after a really special meal, Haus26 is for you.

The owners know what's going on in the area and can advise on hiking and skiing. They also make vegan food. The renovated old house is now a lovely place to stay, with nice, clean, brand-new rooms. Breakfast was great, fresh and homemade.
