We visited in September, when there are lots of lovely hiking trails around. The room had a beautiful view, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. The receptionist spoke English well. An unlimited lift pass was included in the room price, though you do have to walk uphill to get to the lifts. We also enjoyed the sauna and its Roman theme.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with great food, a lovely dining room and charming, friendly staff. Check-in was also a pleasure: the staff spoke excellent English and took extra time to show us around the resort complex. The room and spa were great, and having a pizza shop right outside the door was handy.

The valley views from the tastefully decorated, comfortable rooms were lovely. Owners and staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast had a good selection, and the central location made parking easy. Pretty much perfect!

For a few days of skiing before Christmas, this worked out really well. The location is only a 5-minute walk from the ski lift, and the on-site ski dome was legendary. We also found the price quite reasonable for the pre-Christmas period. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, the rooms and sauna were excellent, and the breakfast buffet was fantastic and varied. No complaints at all, highly recommended.
