The pension sits in a beautiful, quiet part of Seeboden, close to the beach. Its lovely garden is clearly a labor of love for Ms Riedl, especially the flowers. The rooms were clean, cozy, and big enough, with balconies overlooking the lake. A few things let us down: the free wifi was terrible and made us log in almost every hour. Nobody could speak a word of any language other than German. We had asked for gluten-free breakfast and were promised it, but there was no gluten-free option in the end. Ms Riedl refused to buy an alternative, so we had to get it ourselves.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from, especially the excellent jams, and the owner was friendly and helpful throughout. The apartment suited us perfectly as two adults with a child: it had a separate children's room, a bathroom with a shower and toilet, an entrance hall, a hallway, and a private kitchen equipped with everything we needed for a holiday. We'd happily book Haus Riedl again.

Our balcony room looked out over the lake, and the garden made the guesthouse feel like a little paradise. Mrs. Riedel is a lovely host, and you can see the care put into everything, including the breakfast buffet. We wholeheartedly recommend this beautiful place.

The view was magnificent, the beds were great, and we had everything we needed. Breakfast was plentiful, and we especially enjoyed the lovely breakfast garden. The owner made us feel so welcome and clearly puts a lot of love into the place. Everything was neat and well cared for, with a nice shower too. The one thing that could be better is the Wi-Fi. It kept disconnecting, and the speed was poor, so streaming was a struggle. That's my only improvement point. Thanks for a fantastic week!

Breakfast was delicious and more than enough for us, and our room was very clean. Mrs. Riedl gave us such a warm welcome. We'll definitely come back.
