The south-facing view was lovely in the afternoon sun. Our room was neat and clean, and the staff were friendly.

Breakfast was simple and adequate, with enough to satisfy hunger. There’s no dinner or coffee service, and the bill has to be paid in cash or transferred at the start of the stay. Debit cards aren’t accepted. The hotel/guesthouse is in a quiet spot on the edge of Fiss, and the owner, who shares its name, is very friendly. Our large room had plenty of storage and a spacious bathroom, and the cleaning service was excellent.

We had a wonderful week at Haus Barbara with our child. The apartment was spotless, the hosts were very friendly, and we were completely happy with our stay. We'd love to return.

It’s a peaceful place to stay, and the price was very reasonable. We had a large room with a balcony running along the other rooms and a great mountain view. The guesthouse was reupholstered and redecorated this year. Beds were good, the shower was nice, and there was plenty of closet space. The friendly hostess served a generous, delicious breakfast. We also got a guest card that gives access to the region’s lifts and other things, except in winter.
