Hotel Garni s'Röck

A charming little hotel right by the lifts in Fiss. The rooms may look a bit old school, but it's cozy, welcoming, and has what you need for a good ski holiday. Everything was very clean and well maintained, and the staff were friendly. Hearty breakfast and nice spa facilities, too. A top pick for mountain lovers.

For a ski trip, the location is one of the best in Fiss, with direct access to the slopes and lifts. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well equipped, and the hotel was quiet and very clean. The team was friendly and helpful. Breakfasts had a generous selection, and assigned tables meant no hunting for a seat on busy mornings. Don't forget to keep an eye on your boiled egg(s). 😉

We slept like logs all seven nights, and the kids especially loved the pool. There's also an afternoon snack in the dining room just as the slopes close, which was a lifesaver for them. Breakfast each day included breads, scrambled eggs, fresh juice, coffee, juicing machines, yogurt, fresh fruit and granola, cheeses, salmon, cereal, and milk. The mountain view from our balcony was great, and the accommodation itself was great too. The ski locker room was convenient, and it's a short uphill walk to two gondolas, with ski-in access at the end of the day. Friendly, energetic staff, especially at breakfast!

I've watched this place grow over the last thirty years with my family. The relaxed vibe, fantastic location, and the family running it have stayed the same ❤️. Additions like the spa, swimming pool, and steam bath have made it even better over the years.
