A few minutes' walk from Lavida takes you to the centre of Fiss, with its scenic church, wells and traditional houses where cattle and horses live in attached byres. The local restaurants serve great food. I can't wait to return. We visited in 2017 and stayed with a lovely family on the edge of a beautiful village. Our room had a big bedroom, shower room and small patio, and everything, including the sauna, was spotlessly clean. We spent Easter on the snow slopes from Fiss, leaving our gear all week in a modern locker room under the gondola station. No walking in boots or carrying equipment each day. Resia in Italy and Samnaun in Switzerland are a 40-minute drive over the border, and Innsbruck is an hour away.

The sauna area was excellent, and breakfast had everything we could want. Our room was bright and nicely furnished, with a sofa bed, refrigerator, safe and modern bathroom. The whole house was very clean and well maintained, and the hosts were super friendly. There are parking spaces in front. We'd love to come back. Excellent!

The hosts were very friendly, and the place is quiet with everything within easy walking distance. Our room was clean and spacious. Breakfast is a small buffet, but delicious and with all you could want. I especially liked the wide choice of coffee. We'll definitely be back 😊

We've stayed here three times now and would recommend it. The rooms are clean, spacious and very nice, with private parking right in front of the house. There's a great sauna, too. The hostess is so welcoming. Breakfast is delicious, with coffee options, bread, rolls, muesli and eggs made fried or scrambled if you ask.

We spent three nights here and had a lovely time at breakfast with the cheerful landlady. There was plenty to choose from, and even cocoa with milk was no problem. A good breakfast set us up for the day. The room and bathroom were both very clean and tidy. I can recommend this guesthouse with a clear conscience, and would definitely stay again.
