Hotel Winterbauer was amazing. We stayed with our daughter and loved every minute, from the food and service to the rooms. Everyone was so friendly and cheerful. We were both sad to leave. Many thanks from Sydney, Australia.

The food was great, and the service was very friendly. An excellent restaurant, all around.

The rooms are large, the view is amazing, and the air feels fresh. Even the tap water was really good. It’s the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The restaurant menu was nice and the food delicious, and the service was good too. The staff are really nice.

We went to the restaurant for my birthday, and the views and food were great. The service, though, was terrible. My husband gave the staff candles to bring with dessert, but they put them in the main course. Who does that? I ordered a soufflé during my main course because the menu said it needed 15 minutes. Instead, they brought a different dessert. My husband ended up putting the candles in that dessert himself, even though I hadn’t ordered it. It was a disaster, and I was very upset. When I told the waiter it was the wrong dessert, he didn’t even apologize and was very rude. I don’t recommend this restaurant. Service matters more to me than anything else.

The rooms are spacious and clean, with very nice mountain views, and the hotel service, restaurant, and breakfast were all great. The hotel sits at 1000 m, so getting there means a steady climb, and snow chains are necessary. Once you arrive, there’s a parking garage with direct access to the ski and boot storage.
