Our family and friends had such a good vacation here. The owners are genuinely kind and friendly. We spent time chatting with Fritz about his farm and animals, which we found really interesting. The kids loved going to "help" him with the animals each evening, and he was patient and sweet with them even when they were being kids. In season, you can get fresh eggs, milk, and other farm products. The dogs and cats are around too, and are very friendly and fun to pet and play with. There’s plenty outside for children, including a big playground with a zip-line, treehouse, and trampoline. The apartments are roomy, nicely furnished, and well-equipped, with furniture that looks mostly new. There are lots of books, mostly in German, plus board games and toys. The kitchen in the largest, upstairs apartment is a bit small for a large group, but we didn't mind and it still works fine. In winter, there are three ski areas within a 30-minute drive, Molltaler Gletcher, Ankogel, and Goldeck, with others farther away. The house also has a ski room with a heater for boots. Everything made the stay so pleasant that we'd happily come back anytime.

We've been coming every year since 2010, and this place is a real gem. It's great for kids and adults alike. If you're looking to get away and enjoy fresh alpine air and pure glacier water, this is the spot.

There are farm animals here, which the kids will love, and the owners are friendly. It's a nice place to stay, with a great location between two ski resorts. I'd recommend it.

Our four days at the Auernig farm in Carinthia were wonderful, and we wished we could have stayed longer. The hosts made us feel welcome right away. They’re so warm and hospitable, and you can tell they’re especially happy to see children. The farm was a paradise for our kids. They could roam around, visit the animals, ride horses, play, run, and explore. There was so much for them to do: vehicles, a treehouse, zip line, swings, sandbox, and more. The animals were lovely, especially the two cuddly dogs, and the whole place has a relaxed, open, genuine feel. Our apartment was spotless and had all the things you might forget to bring, like garbage bags and dish towels. We also appreciated the little touches: eggs we could collect ourselves, bikes and helmets to borrow, and the quiet setting close to nature. You can walk or hike right from the farm, or take a stroll to a charming little farm shop. There are plenty of other options around the area too. We’ll definitely be back, and wholeheartedly recommend it.
