Breakfast was spot on, with ham, eggs, sausage, cheese, rolls, yoghurt, cake, tomatoes, cereal, coffee, orange juice and more. The staff were very kind, and the apartment was clean.

We ended up extending our stay at short notice, and that worked out wonderfully. Ms. Janschütz was incredibly kind and made us feel welcome and well looked after right away. Our room had plenty of space, plus a dressing room, a refrigerator and a roomy bathroom. Breakfast was delicious and had everything we could want. Adeg and Intersport are both easy to reach on foot.

We found a friendly and helpful hostess here, and a good, affordable base for visiting the Großglockner High Alpine Road, about an hour's drive away. Around 400 meters from the guesthouse, the Gletschermühle Hotel has a very good restaurant with tasty, reasonably priced food, excellent draft beer and desserts. I recommend it.

Finding a hot meal in the village on a Tuesday evening is tricky, since both the pizzeria and Café ICE are closed then :-( Still, Mrs. Janschütz is a fantastic host and really makes you feel what hospitality means. I highly recommend Pension Janschütz to AAT hikers. I’ll definitely be back.

Mrs. Janschütz was so friendly and accommodating, and we felt completely at ease with her. The room was spacious and very clean. We’d definitely stay here again! 😄😄
