Haus Kathrein

The surroundings made it easy to mix relaxing with activities for every age. Landeck, with its shops and charming weekly market, is only a 10-minute drive away, and there are alpine pastures nearby serving tasty traditional food at reasonable prices. For walks, lovely trails start within easy walking distance, passing mountain meadows and beautiful coniferous forests. We also found plenty of wild berries and mushrooms, including parasol mushrooms, summer porcini, red-capped scaber stalks, and birch boletes. For family outings, we recommend the summer toboggan run at Hoch-Imst, with its great restaurant, the panoramic swimming pool in Fließ, and donkey rides in Griens. Other activities for all ages are easy to reach by car. We stayed in the holiday apartment in mid-July, five adults and two children. The Schönherr family, Senior and Junior, made us feel very welcome. They were helpful with questions and easy to deal with. The apartment was very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The children loved the swings, animals, and farm atmosphere, while the bedrooms and balconies had beautiful mountain views. We had a wonderful holiday. A special thank you again to the Schönherr family! :)
