The family’s hospitality is superb, and the rooms are very clean. Breakfast has lots of variety, and you can also have dinner here. They serve delicious Austrian specialties rather than standard dishes, and we liked the food better than eating out. After a day of skiing, you can head to the wellness center each afternoon, with four different saunas. One thing to know: a gondola to the mountain has been closed in Forstau since this year.

Everyone in our family had a fantastic time, from our one-year-old to our 87-year-old. There really was something for all four generations. The apartment was excellent, and everyone was incredibly friendly.

The food was delicious and there was plenty of variety, and the rooms were clean and comfortable. It’s a beautiful hotel with lots for children to do. The hosts are always friendly and ready to help. We’d be very happy to return ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

The playground and animals were a real dream for our son, who also loved having his own main course at dinner. We had wonderful meals each evening, and breakfast had everything we could want. Our room was spacious, lovely, and spotless. We spent a week at the Brandstätthof after friends recommended it, and everything was just right. With the Dachsteincard, we found some great excursions, most only a 15-30 minute drive away. We had such a lovely week that we’ll definitely come back next year.
