Saminapark Aparthotel & Boardinghouse

Saminapark made a handy base for us to explore places in Austria, Switzerland, and Lichenstein. We never drove more than 40 minutes each way, and staying here for a few days was much better and cheaper with the Euro than booking different rooms. We booked room 206 and loved the view. The rooms are amazing, with a small kitchenette, big TV, great shower, and dining table. The lighting is excellent, and the outdoor curtains adjust at the touch of a button. The included underground garage is roomy, and getting in and out is easy. The beds were a bit hard, and we missed having a comfier pillow. Unfortunately, the TV’s casting system didn’t work.

The garage parking was included in the bill, and there’s a super yummy bakery and a gelato store downstairs. There’s also a police station downstairs, so safety feels well guaranteed. The studio’s large window gives you beautiful town scenery, and inside there’s a big-screen TV plus a little kitchen tucked into a cabinet, with a stove, microwave, and basic kitchenware. The shower room is quite new and clean. The only thing I’d change is the sheet and bed linen, which would be much better softer.

It’s a small studio, but the bathroom is large, the shower’s good, and a huge window lets in plenty of light with nice views. There’s no toaster or oven. The tiny kitchen is inside a cabinet, but it has what you need for a few days: Nespresso coffee machine with 4 capsules included, tea maker, fridge, stove, kitchenware, microwave with grill, and dishwasher. Toiletries are provided, and the mattress is good. The apartment is in a pretty new modern office building in downtown Frastanz, with no front desk. Self check-in is by code. Parking underground at the property is easy, with an elevator up to the apartment. There’s a little traffic noise if you leave the window open. Good WiFi, and a great bakery in the same building.

Check-in was flexible, and I really liked the studio apartment. It’s a nice concept, with crockery and cutlery, a dining table, microwave, electric hob, and other useful things. We used the EV charger in the parking garage after being told it was okay. There are 4 charging bays, with 3ph, 22kW charging. I’d definitely stay again.
