The atmosphere was good, and communication was easy. Staff were nice and the food was good.

The wellness area on the roof is fantastic, and the rooms are clean and tidy. Staff were friendly and ready to help. It’s a nice hotel for the price, and getting around in winter is easy: the bus stop and train station are across the street, with access to the Zillertal ski areas.

This family hotel sits by the road leading to Kaltenbach, Arena, and Mayrhofen. Service was very good, and the facilities include a fitness room, sauna, and rooftop pool.

The staff really made this place for me. They were friendly and helpful at any hour. The train station and ski bus stop are convenient, though the hotel is some distance from the slopes. You’ll need a bus or train for the resorts anyway unless you’re staying in Mayrhofen, where the options are plentiful, so I’d still choose somewhere this nice and travel to the snow. I stayed in a newly refurbished terrace room, which felt luxurious. Having a private lounge and terrace was worth it for relaxing after a day on the slopes. The fifth-floor steam room, sauna, and infrared room were fantastic and never felt crowded. Breakfast had a big buffet, a fresh juicing machine, and eggs made to order. Dinner on half board was delicious, with three main dishes to choose from, salad bar, soups, cheeses, and all kinds of bread. This hotel in Fügen was an unexpected gem.
