Biohotel Rastbichlhof

The family who own and run this hotel really seem to care about their guests. It’s tucked away from the main road, so it’s quiet, but the valley paths are easy to reach and lifts for summer walks or winter skiing are a quick drive or bus ride away. The hotel is clean and spacious, with a very friendly feel. Meals were excellent, and they use local ingredients when they can. They’re also making a real effort to be greener, with good results. The spa is thoughtfully laid out, with a pool, sauna, steam room, showers, and relaxation rooms.

The vegan menu was fantastic, the best we’ve had in Austria. We had a wonderful week at the Rastbichlhof, with a lovely spacious room and a really good spa and relaxation area. The hotel sits in a peaceful spot, while still being close to the main road and bus stop for getting around the valley. Everyone on the team was welcoming, friendly, and genuinely helpful. Thank you for such a great holiday.

We spent 8 days here and loved the setting, with beautiful scenery all around. The bus and a grocery store are just down the street, and walking paths start only a few metres from the door. Our room on the 3rd floor had an amazing view. Breakfast was a lovely buffet with great coffee, and dinner was always good, with a vegetarian option too. Being able to charge our electric car was a big plus. After long hours out in the cold, the spa was an extra treat.

The food was very good, and the staff were polite and nice. We spent 7 winter nights at Biohotel Rasbichlof, and the warm, quiet hotel in such beautiful surroundings made us sure we want to return.
