The White Rose makes a great base for exploring the valley by car. Mike speaks pretty good English, and booking by phone was easy. He was very helpful with ideas for activities and places to visit. Some rooms get a bit of distracting traffic noise, but the town is extremely quiet after 8pm. : 7 ) We’ll absolutely stay here on our next visit to the Wachau Valley.

There’s a garage where you can store bikes, and the rooms are big and clean. Breakfast was good and plentiful, and the staff were very nice and friendly. This was the best guest house we’ve stayed at along the Donau!

The owner was kind and helpful with everything, and there was an option for secure bike storage. We spent one night here on a cycling trip. The rooms are very large and recently renovated, and both the breakfast and location were excellent!
