The lake, mountain air, and nearby woods made a wonderful setting for a healthy summer holiday, especially for my mother, who has had heart surgery. We spent two weeks at the lovely, cozy, and well-kept guesthouse Ellmaustein, close to Lake Fuschl, one of the cleanest lakes in the Alps, and to beautiful Alpine woodlands with long walking routes. The owner, Mr Karl Brunner, is a genuinely kind, warm-hearted Austrian man, always ready to help paying guests with whatever they need. Our stay was amazing.
