The steak was really bad, so don’t order it. The salad and dessert were good, though. I’m giving it four stars because the host was very nice, and the view and location were great.

The lake trout pasta and lasagna are pictured below. The food was great for a decent price, and the view was amazing. I’d love to come back and spend a few nights at the hotel.

We loved having lunch here. The food was really tasty, and the beautiful view of Fuschelsee is visible from both the indoor and outdoor seating areas. It’s such a lovely place and restaurant, with service among the best in Europe. Highly recommended, and I’ll definitely visit again.

We took the gondola from St Gelgen up to the top of the mountain for the stupendous views. We wore crampons for peace of mind.

The lovely setting by Fuschl lake is the best part. The food was disappointing, though: my children’s Schnitzel was very dry, and my salad was only okay. Service was slow and unfriendly.
