Pension Valluela

For what I paid, I was somewhat satisfied with what I got. It's a good budget choice if you want to save money and don't expect to spend much time inside the hotel or pension. The location is great, in my opinion, and the ladies looking after you are extremely helpful and pleasant. We were on the third floor, but the toilet was on the second or first/ground floor. The stairs are tiny, so I had to duck to avoid hitting my head, and everything creaks. The toilet room was very cold. The shoe drying room is really just a closet at the same temperature as the other rooms. My snowboard boots never dried fully. They suggested putting newspaper inside to absorb some moisture. It helps a little, but the boots were still wet or damp. Breakfast starts at 8 AM, so you can't catch the 07:37 bus and get to Ischgl first in line before the FIMBA A1/2/3 cable cars open. If you're skiing in Ischgl, I recommend renting lockers there and leaving your boots to dry overnight. I don't have advice for the Galtür resort.
