The chef took time to make sure guests felt welcome and looked after, which gave the restaurant a really pleasant atmosphere. And the meat dishes were outstanding: rich, balanced flavors, tender and juicy meat cooked just right, and ingredients that seemed to be top quality. The service and friendliness were out of this world. Christiane went out of her way to suggest dinner alternatives and help the kids feel at home. Dinner was tasty, and the hotel has an authentic, beautiful feel. The breakfast could use more variety and runs out very quickly. There should be enough for everyone even when the hotel isn’t full. The pool and jacuzzi were very cold, so they’re fine for a quick dip, but a little more warmth would be welcome. The ski room was decent, though it’s missing lockers.

Whenever I’m in Galtür, I come here for lunch or dinner. The food is top quality, and the portions are generous and big. Last time I tried the sushi, which isn’t offered at many places, and it was so good that I’ll order a plate of it next time. Until then! 👋

The food was prepared well, but the waiter mixed up our order with another table’s and asked us to eat the wrong meal. I refused, and after a while we got what we had ordered. When it was time to pay, he seemed to expect a sizeable tip, probably to cover the cost of his own mistake.
