The rooms were clean and neat, though the decor feels straight out of the ’90s. Dinner was average, to put it politely.

Having lunch here was a highlight for us. We sat outside in such a calm, lovely atmosphere, and the family who own the place were warm, charming, and attentive. I felt completely at ease around such lovely people.

The village, the surrounding area, and the slopes are what would bring us back, along with Dudi, Dió, and Marci, who run the place and also teach skiing. Our daughter and we all improved a lot in the lessons, and we had a great time. We stayed four days for a family ski camp, the three of us in a newer room. It was clean, roomy, and perfectly fine, though the bed felt a little too soft for us. The guesthouse is somewhat retro, but otherwise fine. Breakfast and dinner suited Hungarian tastes: simple, great meals every day. ❤️

The only good part of the meal was the drink. The fries were raw, and the schnitzel was soaked in grease. I wouldn’t recommend eating here, especially at those prices, 3 euros for a 0.3-liter apple juice. I can’t comment on the hotel since I only ate here. The server was friendly but didn’t speak German well. The menu shows the same page twice and pictures two schnitzels, but you only get one. Just so you know.
