Älpili Landhotel

The staff are very nice, and there’s a varied choice of dishes in the evening. Breakfast is plentiful, and the location is great. The rooms aren’t new, but they’re very clean. Replacing the hair dryer would make a big difference, as the current one is unfortunately no longer up to standard.

We had a suite and a standard room, but there was very little difference between them despite a significant price gap. The rooms were also quite simply furnished. The five-course meal came in very small portions and wasn’t particularly tasty. The hotel feels outdated and badly needs renovation, and the spa area does too.

The staff were attentive and friendly, the food was good, and the hotel is close to the valley station. We’d recommend it for those reasons alone. When a skiing accident cut our booked week short and we had to leave after four days, the management was also very accommodating and refunded a large part of what we’d paid.

The location is great for the ski school and lifts, and the meals were excellent. Staff were friendly and efficient, and the family rooms had plenty of space. The spa is roomy and quiet, though a little dated. The hairdryer could use an update.
