We didn’t mind the layout, though it’s worth knowing that the stairwell separates the living room from the bedroom, bathroom, and toilet. The hostess was friendly and made us feel welcome, and when the non-stick pan stopped working, she quickly replaced it with a new one. The apartment in Gaschrun is lovely, fully and comfortably furnished, and in a beautiful location. We especially enjoyed the balcony and its view of Gaschrun.

The one layout detail that took a little getting used to was the hallway between the bedroom and toilet and the kitchen and living room. Apart from that, we felt very comfortable over our long weekend. It’s a great base for hiking in the mountains, and everything we needed was there, we didn’t lack a thing.

The kitchen’s panoramic window was a real plus, with a view of the valley station. Our vacation apartment was on the top floor of a somewhat older residential building, and it could feel chilly at times. We couldn’t adjust the heating ourselves. Also, the bedroom balcony doors wouldn’t tilt open, which was uncomfortable at night since we had to leave a door open to get fresh air.

We’ll definitely come back. Bea is a super friendly hostess, and the apartment has a fantastic view, a great location, and a really comfortable bed. It’s a beautiful place. Best regards, Dirk & Alex :-)
