The food, atmosphere, and people are all top-notch, and the staff are truly amazing. They’re a big part of what makes this place so special. I almost didn’t want to write a review so it could stay our secret, but it’s too good not to mention. I haven’t found anywhere else with charm comparable to Gasthof-Hotel Sonne, and I look forward to coming back every year!!!

Everyone is friendly, the rooms are always clean and perfect, and the food is always the best. It’s a great hotel run by a great family. I’ll never stay anywhere else.

Our friends recommended this place to us, and we found it to be the most friendly, caring family run Hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Benny is the 4th generation to carry on the hotel.

It’s my ninth year coming to Sonne, and it’s still my favorite place in the world. The staff are warm and friendly, they feel like family. The rooms are cozy, the lifts are easy to get to, and the Austrian meals are delicious. There’s a sauna and ski room, too. Everything you need, nothing more. Simply perfection.

Year after year, the Berger family welcomes us with open arms. After skiing all day, our family and friends look forward to those wonderful, long dinners. We also love stopping by the Karo bar when it’s open!
