Appartement Wenger

The only thing I personally struggled with was the very soft mattress. Both apartments had the same kind, and to me it felt like lying in a bean bag 😀. I suspect the mattresses have had some use and that the owners would rather buy the hardest ones possible so they last. Aside from that, everything was fine, and we’ll definitely come back. Two years ago we stayed in the upper apartment, which sleeps about eight, but it wasn’t available this year, so we booked two apartments one floor below. They’re fully equipped, with pretty much everything you have at home. The owner is very pleasant and helpful, and everyone here is nice. There’s also a washing machine and dryer in a ground floor room. I’m not sure if all four holiday apartments can use them, since some apartments are occupied permanently by local residents. I think access would probably be fine if arranged with the owner.

Mrs. Winger treated us kindly and gave us great service. The apartment has everything you need, with good space for the price, and you can use the washing machines on the ground floor yourself. It’s in a small rural neighborhood with a stream nearby, lovely for an early morning walk. Winger Apartments is in Bad Hofgastein, well placed for exploring the surrounding attractions. The village center is a five-minute drive away, with an Arabic grocery store and a Turkish restaurant. We also enjoyed the easy access and charming views.
