The hotel is made up of two buildings joined by a covered passage. Some rooms have been refurbished with modern kitchenettes, while other rooms are older and could use renovation. The overall impression was good, and the place feels very family-friendly. There are community and games rooms with plenty for kids and adults to do, including table tennis and table football. Breakfast and dinner were good, and the staff were kind and friendly. Check-in and check-out were easy. There is on-site parking and ski storage with heated boot racks. In 2025, city ski bus line 552 stopped 100 metres from the hotel.

The owner and his team served a great breakfast and dinner. The sauna and relaxation facilities were cool, and there was a playroom for kids. We found the atmosphere very friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable, with enough space for our family of two kids. Great location and good value for the price. We'll definitely come back. December 2021.

We've come here three times for skiing, and I've enjoyed every visit. The rooms are cosy, the staff welcoming, and the food excellent, with plenty of variety through the week and always two other choices on the menu. There's no pool at Crystal, though guests can use the hotel at the nearby hotel Palace. The lifts aren't close by, but the ski bus stops outside every 10 minutes and takes you right to them. There have always been spaces, so getting out in the morning and back at night has never been stressful. The facilities are good, and I'm looking forward to returning.

Conditions were mediocre and the rooms weren't very big. There is a playroom, and free parking is available. Room cleaning isn't included. The pool was closed, and it was also in a disgusting state.
