Familienhotel Sonngastein

The food was really good, and we enjoyed the spa and children’s activities too. Everyone did their best to make our holiday easy, fun and relaxed, with outstanding service throughout. Thank you all for a wonderful vacation! Already looking forward to coming back :)

We spent five wonderful nights here, three adults and five children under six. The huge indoor playground is just past the restaurant, so the kids could head off to play while we relaxed over meals. Food was a real highlight: the menu changes daily and everything we tried was delicious. Service was warm and attentive, and there were lots of activities for kids of different ages. The pool area is compact but has what you need, including a hot tub and a natural spring water pool. The sauna area is brand new, with three types of saunas. Fantastic stay from beginning to end.

The boys, who are teenagers, loved the pool and both jacuzzis, and we’re already thinking about coming back for more skiing and pampering. This was our first ski holiday, so we wanted somewhere memorable for such a special time in our lives. The food was delicious, and the staff were amazing, always smiling and super helpful. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay.

There’s plenty here for families with children, pet lovers, sporty guests and people who enjoy good food. The hotel is well equipped and organized, so everyone can find what they need for a pleasant holiday. Staff are friendly and helpful, the cuisine and service are excellent, and management is spot on. I especially have to mention "die Erlebnishalle", a really large indoor play area with great equipment for children of different ages. We enjoyed our holiday at hotel Sonngastein and will definitely come again.
