The balconies have lovely views, especially in the evening with a glass of wine. The house has real charm and feels like home, and the hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely beautiful!

The location is great, with supermarkets, other shops, the thermal baths and a bus stop just a few minutes away on foot. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. The apartments aren't furnished with the newest things, but the rooms felt so cozy that I was very comfortable, maybe even because of that. If I return to Hofgastein, I'll definitely book here again.

I kept coming back, and this was my third stay. The hotel is lovely and cozy, almost like visiting people you know. It's an older wooden house, with a distinctive smell and creaky floorboards that add to the atmosphere. The owners are friendly, smiling, speak English, and are happy to help, offer suggestions, and tell you about things. The rooms are clean, though they only clean them when you check out. In a place like this, I treated it more like my own room and cleaned it myself. Most rooms have huge balconies with sun loungers and mountain views. Each has a mini-kitchen with dishes, fast Wi-Fi, and a flat-screen TV that can play from a flash drive. There are radiators for drying ski clothes, plus a room downstairs for skis, boards, and boots. The location is convenient: the ski lift is 20 minutes away, or five minutes by free bus. From that stop, you can also take free buses to nearby towns with ski slopes. The bus stop is two houses from the hotel, and there's a small parking lot. The owner also breeds rabbits, which are adorable. Great hotel, great people, great country!

The balcony view of the mountains was fantastic, and the room was lovely and spotless. The staff were attentive and made us feel very welcome. I'll definitely come back.
