Hotel Garni Alpenland

Simon and the rest of the staff made this beautiful hotel feel even more special. Simon was so friendly and helpful that we felt like the most important guests. He even found ice cream for our two kids after the other shops had closed. The pool and sauna areas are among the best we've come across in our travels. Our room was spectacular, clean, spacious, and had a great river view. The hotel is right in the middle of Gerlos, with lots to do with the kids. We ended up in Gerlos on a whim after our Vienna plans were cancelled. It was our first visit, but definitely won't be our last. If you get the chance, visit this lovely hotel and location. My wife and I couldn't have been happier.

The apartment was just right for our family, modern, and had a lovely balcony view of Gerlos church. The kids also enjoyed having a swimming pool on site, and we made plenty of use of the free cable cars to nearby mountains. We stayed at Alpenland Gerlos during a family holiday in Austria. The hotel and staff were amazing, always welcoming each day. I'd gladly recommend the location to other families.

The pool and spa were beautiful, and the kids loved swimming after a day on the slopes. We were also surprised to find a little gym and table football area. Alpenland is right opposite the DorfBahn lift, with Intersport ski hire in the same spot, so getting onto the mountain was easy. There are plenty of good restaurants within a few hundred metres, and a Spar supermarket downstairs for snacks. We’ve just got home from a wonderful week at this hidden B&B gem in the heart of Gerlos. It was recently renovated, and our room was immaculate, with lovely attention to detail in the fixtures and fittings. The only thing we missed was a kettle in the room. I can't recommend Alpenland enough.

A lovely family-run hotel with warm, comfortable hospitality and attentive staff. I stayed during winter and really enjoyed it. Hope to come back in summer sometime.
