We’d gladly stay here again. It’s quiet and right by the lake, breakfast tastes good, and the service is friendly and professional. A few things could make the stay easier: there’s no room phone, so it’s hard to reach the front desk if you need them, and the internet in the room is slow. Breakfast is good, though there aren’t many hot options. The shower had no soap dispenser, just tiny toiletries bottles that ran out after a use or two, which wasn’t much for two people.

The hotel was very clean, and we had good Wi-Fi. Our renovated room with a sauna was spacious and comfortable, with a large, convenient bed. The owners were very hospitable, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, especially the tasty coffee. A lovely family hotel overlooking the lake.

We spent five lovely days here and would definitely return. The rooms are spacious, breakfast was amazing, and we really enjoyed the friendly atmosphere. We highly recommend this beautiful hotel by the lake.

Ms Johanna at reception was patient and so helpful with our reservations, and she shared great recommendations. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and take in the mountains and lake. Breakfast is included, though I wish there were a simple coffee machine in the room. Seehotel is a peaceful place to recharge in the Traunsee area. It’s outside the main city, which means it’s quiet, and the walk into town takes about 10 minutes along the lake with fresh air all the way. I’d choose to stay here again.

The owners were welcoming and polite, with a personal touch in everything. Breakfast was excellent, and there’s parking in front of the hotel. The lakeside setting is amazing, and a picturesque 10-minute walk takes you to the main market square and old town. The best place to stay in Gmunden!
