The weak internet was a major problem. Wi-Fi barely worked, and even the mobile signal in the room was very poor. Basic toiletries, including shower gel, shampoo and hand soap, were missing or not replenished each day. The bed was made of two separate parts, so it was uncomfortable to sleep on. The bathroom was dated and had a constant drip, while thin curtains let in too much early morning light. There were cracks visible on the walls too. For the price, I was disappointed with the service and quality. The maintenance, supply of basic toiletries and internet infrastructure all need improvement.

The staff were incredible, from the receptionist and waiters to the cleaning team. Everyone was kind and caring, helped with everything I needed and made me feel safe. I arrived in Austria with my dog after booking, and although this hotel doesn’t allow dogs, they quickly arranged a room for us at their sister hotel, just a one-minute walk from the main hotel. The food was really nice, with a vegetarian option always available, and the location was perfect. It was such a cosy, sweet stay for me as a solo female traveler. I loved it and can’t recommend it enough. Next time I’m here, I’ll book Hotel Edelweiss again without hesitation! 😁

The receptionist was really lovely, and the rooms were very clean. We also liked the old building and furniture, they added to the mountain cabin feel. It’s a 15-minute drive to the city centre.

The location was beautiful, and the room was decent with its own bathroom. We made good use of the sauna and indoor pool, and breakfast had a good spread. The bus stop is within 350 m.

Such a welcoming place, with fun, engaging staff. The food was excellent and the bar felt very welcoming too. Loved our stay, and I’ll be back next time I’m in Europe. If you go, tell ’em the Australians sent you 😆😆😆
