Götznerhof - Self-Check-in

I left very disappointed. The rooms weren’t cleaned properly, and the furnishings were old and coming apart. The whole place felt neglected. Parking was usually unavailable too, which made the stay even more frustrating. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The doors had to be slammed to shut, and parking was usually unavailable. The furniture was shabby and old, the rooms were unclean, and the place seemed terribly maintained. A very disappointing stay, and I wouldn’t come back.

We were seven people on a booking under one name, and getting the room keys through the self check-in machine took ages. It seemed to struggle with one person needing seven beds. The machine wasn’t useful for checkout either, since it automatically checked us out at 11.00. The remote check-in email arrived first, so we tried to complete it the night before but only got partway through. When we called, a kind employee (thanks for that) told us it couldn’t be done the day before and had to be completed in person on the hotel computer. Why send the email, then? I wouldn’t stay here with more than three people if the reservation is under just one person.

I can’t think of anything to fault. I stayed here 44 years ago during a school skiing trip, and it was one of my best holidays. Highly recommend 👌👌👌
