The staff were great, and there were lovely dogs to pet. After a long day skiing, the sauna and ice pond were wonderful to have. It's a lovely little hotel, though some rooms are small with shared toilets while others have en suites. The food is great, but hygiene is questionable. Dinner is different each time, while breakfast has the same items laid out. The location isn't ideal, as it's far from towns and ski areas. 7.5/10

Being so close to Böndlsee was a real plus, just a 10-minute walk to the swimming lake. It also seemed especially suited to families, with lots of young children staying while we were there. We liked our room and having a small kitchen, and the sauna and pool were great. Breakfast was good, and dinner felt worth the price at €20 for four courses.

The breakfasts were very good, even with only a few guests around, and you can also visit the sauna or feed the farm animals. We stayed two nights with our dog and had no problems at all. The staff were genuinely helpful and friendly. Both the room and the building were lovely, with big balconies and spectacular views. If we're back in the area, we'd choose this place again.

The animals around the property are a nice touch, and the food was good. We found the staff helpful, too. It's a lovely spot in an old building, and the rooms are spacious with pleasant balconies. One downside: the floor creaks loudly, and it takes quite a while for the water to heat up.
