We stayed for three nights, and it was honestly the worst hotel experience I’ve had. The owner, who was also the receptionist, seemed very “nationalist.” She ignored us when we tried to speak to her, sometimes even walking out while we were asking for information. When she did answer, she was rude. We chose this hotel because the website said it had a climatic swimming pool and sauna. It didn’t say they were only available for two hours a day, from 5pm to 7pm, and the pool was freezing cold. When she asked if it was cold, I politely said it was. She laughed and replied, “you are from canary islands, the Atlantic Ocean is more cold.” I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but I think this place was a disgrace. If this saves even one person from having the same experience, it’s worth writing.

The owner was really kind and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. This is an older hotel with an old-fashioned style, but it was clean and comfortable, and the price was low. There’s plenty of parking right outside, and it’s very close to the city centre. It’s in the area between Salzburg and Schladming.

The place was disgusting. The toilet smell of urine spread through the room, the sheets and bedroom carpet were stained, and light bulbs were missing in several places. The kitchen towel was soiled and the counters were dirty. We’ve stayed in lovely apartments and hotels in nearby cities for less than we paid here. I could keep listing things. One star is too generous.

Good breakfast and nice hosting, but I’d only stay here for a weekend at most. There’s no proper fridge in the room, just some kind of cooling box, and the place isn’t fancy. The pool feels more for show. Also, reception isn’t available from 12:00 to 18:00.

A cozy place with fairly inexpensive rooms. The service was really good, and breakfast was excellent. A good overnight stop for hikers or anyone traveling on their own.
