We had the upper apartment from 24 to 26 July 2015, and it was just right for our family. Mornings were a treat, having coffee on the big deck off the master bedroom. The kitchen had everything we needed, and from here it was easy to explore Hallstatt, the Dachstein mountains, and beyond. The view is so good that even the kids won’t mind the weak WiFi or cable TV. We loved the place and would come back without hesitation.

The views were great, and the location worked well for nearby attractions. There’s a restaurant 50 m away and a supermarket 150 away.

The apartments are in a peaceful spot with lovely mountain and nature views. The road below is a dead end, so nights are completely quiet. There’s parking beside the house, and food is available at a nearby pension about 50 meters away. The rooms are very spacious by Austrian pension standards: a large kitchen and dining room, a conference room, two bedrooms, a big bathroom, and an entrance hall. The ground floor apartment also has a very large terrace. In winter, the ski room in the garage is handy.
