Apartment Zhang

We had a lovely holiday. The rooms were very nice and clean, with a balcony and a great view. The location was excellent too, with all the sights easy to reach on foot or by train.

The cleanliness and shortage of towels left me unimpressed.

After being asked at least 69 times what I thought of Apartment Zhang, I figured I should finally review it. I’ve never actually been there, so I can’t say anything about the apartment’s condition or the hospitality. The neighbors are nice, though. Maybe that’s why Google thinks I visited. Five stars for them!

Graz is a beautiful city, but our stay here really spoiled the trip. We’d planned two nights with our family in July, but left after the first because the attic apartment was unbearably hot. The air conditioning showed an E4 error and only moved the room’s air around like a fan instead of cooling it. The owner, who lives on the first floor, said it was working as intended and treated us as if we were fools. He didn’t speak English, so communication was almost impossible. The walls had many patches from water leaks, and the apartment was generally very run down. We asked for half our money back after leaving, but he refused. We also contacted Booking and got no help.
