The breakfast was very good, and the staff, cleanliness, and location all made a good impression. We liked our large triple room, too. It had a simple, classic look, and the bar voucher was a nice welcome touch. Just keep in mind that the rooms get quite warm at night, with no air conditioning, safe, or fridge. Street-facing rooms can be noisy, though it settled down after midnight. We liked the hotel and would recommend it with those drawbacks in mind.

It’s easy to get around from this hotel, with the town center and restaurants close by. Our room was generally quiet. There’s no air conditioning, though, so in summer you have to open the window to get cooler air.

The hotel itself was okay, but noise from the restaurant downstairs kept disrupting my sleep. The people there were very loud and didn’t leave until 4 a.m., which was ridiculous. Management needs to do something about it.

We parked at P+R Murpark and took the tram for about 15 minutes to the hotel entrance. For us, that was much better than driving into the city center. The hotel is right in the heart of Graz and great value. It’s an older building, but very well maintained and classy, with friendly staff. Our room was quiet, clean, and smelled nice, and both the breakfast and location were amazing.

The old building has a lovely charm, and the big rooms, tasty breakfast, and welcoming reception made our stay pleasant. It’s a great base for visiting the old town. Being so central does mean there can be some noise, but we weren’t bothered by it.
