My fifth-floor room had a nice city view, and the rooms were clean. The station is directly opposite, so the location is very convenient. Breakfast had lots of options, and the staff were very friendly.

Being directly across from the train station worked perfectly for my husband and me. Trams into the city centre are right opposite too and easy to use, and there's a lovely coffee shop/restaurant next door if you don't want to eat at the hotel. On our first morning, though, maintenance staff came into our room without knocking. I was dressed, but my husband was in the bathroom. I stopped them and asked them to return later, but they insisted on checking the fire alarm. That's totally unacceptable. My husband complained to the receptionist on duty, but management never gave us a verbal apology. Maybe the small plate of cake in our room was meant as one.

A professional response from reception and hotel management sorted out a bit of a problem when we arrived. The breakfast team was great, especially the nice ladies. The congress hotel is close to the train station and city center. Our large junior apartment had two toilets and a spacious bathroom. A simply professional approach.

We had plenty of space for me and my friend, and the room was comfortable and exceptionally clean. It was good value, with friendly staff and a delicious breakfast offering a very good range of food. The one thing I'd improve is the lifts, which take so long to arrive that you can wait a couple of minutes between floors.
