Parksuites Apartments Graz

Markus and his partner were incredibly accommodating. We arrived in Graz on a Sunday, when all but one grocery store were closed, and Markus drove us to the one that was open so we could buy a few things. He nearly got a parking ticket while waiting for us. The washer and dryer downstairs were easier to use than the washing machine in my apartment, so his partner showed me how they worked. When we asked for fans, Markus went out and bought two large standing ones, assembled them, and brought them up the next day. He also booked us a taxi for departure. My friend and I stayed four nights in Apartments Number 3 and 4, across a small hallway from each other. Each was a large one-bedroom apartment with an open-plan living, dining, and kitchen area. There was a table for four, oven, stovetop, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, fridge, plenty of dishes and utensils, and a few pots and pans. The bathroom was large, with a walk-in shower and a separate toilet closet. The bedroom had lots of storage, a sliding door, a comfortable mattress, and its own TV, in addition to the one in the living room. The dining room had remote-controlled blinds. There were no window screens, as is typical in much of Europe, and everything looked new, though I don't know how long the apartments had been rented out. Construction was going on in the building, and workers often started soon after 7 AM. There were no fans when we arrived, which surprised us. The building is in a small alley facing a local park. Markus advised us to avoid the park after dark, though he said it was safe during the day. We walked through it once in daylight, then decided to stay out of it altogether. In the apartments, though, I felt perfectly safe, and they were quiet at night, which we both appreciated. A bank, several restaurants, a couple of grocery stores, and a plaza with a small produce market on most days are an easy walk away. It's about a 15 to 20 minute walk to the heart of the tourist area, past interesting shops and more restaurants. I'd certainly stay here again.

Modern, super clean accommodation right in the heart of Graz. It's next to the park, with restaurants and bars nearby, and the market just around the corner.

Spacious, modern apartments with a comfortable feel and a nice view of the park. The owners were very hospitable, and parking and Wi-Fi were free.

Everything about the apartment was perfect for me: the host, cleanliness, facilities, location, and view. Best apartment in Graz.
