The rooms were cold and dirty, with opened chips and pasta inside a drawer, and the lights barely worked. They looked nothing like the photos. There was nobody to show us around, just a text telling us where the keys were. When I called, I was told they had no time to talk and that I should send a message. I've never had an experience this bad.

There was a sewage smell in the room, the sheets were dirty, and the bed was full of bed bugs. They refused to refund the booking. As others have said, don't rent a room here. You'd be better off sleeping in your car or in the park.

I booked through Hotels.com, but when I arrived in Graz and called because I couldn't find the place, the owner said there were no rooms, despite my guaranteed booking. He just told us to find another hotel. I'd emailed him the day before but got no reply, and I ended up spending more time and money looking for somewhere to stay. He said he no longer worked with Hotels.com, even though the place was still listed there. I'd give zero stars if I could.

We got in at 2:30 a.m., and they kindly let us check in. It was a good stay.
