The Mölltaler glacier lift is about a 20-minute drive away, and guests can use the hotel's three charging stations. They were free when we stayed. We went in March 2022, during low season, and had the wellness area to ourselves. It had recently been renovated and includes a Finnish sauna, steam room, and two relaxation areas. It's on the small side, so I imagine it could feel crowded when the hotel is full. Our room wasn't the newest, but it was clean, a good size, and had a balcony. The bathroom had a shower, toilet, and sink. The Austrian family running the hotel were very hospitable, and the place had that cozy Austrian warmth. The food, made by their son who studied cooking, was delicious. Good value for money, and we'd definitely recommend it.

Jens and Manuela are lovely owners, and the staff are very friendly. They do all they can to make your stay enjoyable. We were lucky enough to be there for the gala party, where the owners played real Austrian music from 8 to 11 pm. We love this hotel and highly recommend it if you're visiting Kartnen.

The rooms were cleaned nicely, but had little equipment beyond wardrobes and a TV you could connect to by Wi-Fi. Our bathroom window looked almost directly onto someone's balcony, and there was no air conditioning or fridge. At €110 a night, the rooms got really hot even overnight, so I'd suggest looking elsewhere. We booked through Invent using a voucher we'd received as a gift, and felt we were treated as lesser guests because of it. Dinner cost us €32, while the price for regular visitors was €25.90. The explanation was that €60 of the voucher had been allocated to hotel services, including that dinner. I know I shouldn't mind since the voucher was a gift, but it feels like a matter of principle.

The view from our room was breathtaking, and the bed was comfortable. Everything was spotless. The hotel is in a fantastic spot, very close to the amazing Mölltaler Gletscher. The owners were kind and friendly, took care of all our needs, and spoiled us with extras and upgrades. The food was delicious, with good vegetarian and pescatarian choices. I'd recommend staying here without hesitation.

Parking is spacious, so there’s no need to worry about the car. The people are so kind, the rooms are big, and the bed was good. We had both breakfast and dinner, and the food was great. Service was top notch. Check it out :)
