It's a family-run B&B, and you have to pay cash. Check-in ends at 6 or 7 p.m., which was frustrating after we'd travelled from far away through horrible traffic. The house is big and nice, but the rooms feel old, even though the bathroom was new. Our room was clean, but stuffy, with a strange smell, an old bed, and an old, dirty carpet. It wasn't what we expected. We were only there for one night, so it was okay. Breakfast was very basic, with nothing for vegans or people who can't have gluten. We brought our own homemade gluten-free granola and bread.

Mrs. Harl was a lovely, friendly landlady who put together a generous breakfast buffet every day and was glad to answer questions and offer advice. The guesthouse has an open view of the Untersberg, and there are plenty of parking spaces nearby. It's family-run, very clean, and well maintained, with modern bathrooms that have everything you need. Prices are okay, though not exactly cheap. I'd book here again for a few days.

There was a first aid kit waiting in our room when we arrived late, and the host checked in on us the next morning. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious each day, especially the apricot cake. The bathroom was great, and everything was very clean. We had a lovely stay and would absolutely recommend it. Just remember, payment is cash.

I don't often give five stars, but this was wonderful all around. The guesthouse is in a great spot right under a mountain, with friendly hosts, lovely rooms with balconies, and a great breakfast. The price was excellent too. There are three hotels or gasthofs just a few minutes away for evening meals. Highly recommended.

I really loved the place. The room was great, the hosts were humble and helpful, and the balcony had lovely views. Parking and Wi-Fi were free. My only downside was having to carry heavy luggage up the stairs, but it's just a two-storey building, so an elevator probably wouldn't make much sense.
