We stayed one night, and found it affordable and comfortable for a short visit. It’s not really a budget hotel, more of a unique highway motel. The rooms are small but neat and clean, with a spacious parking area. Breakfast was good, with Western and Dutch food.

Our rooms were very nice and clean, but breakfast was shocking. We came from Turkey as a group of 45 tourists, and there was nothing to eat except bread and cheese. We asked about eggs and were repeatedly told they’d be served soon. Eventually they blamed a delay from the supplier. Then the woman in charge began shouting at me and gesturing with her hands. They said our friends who ate earlier had taken eggs away, leaving none for us. They said people could take bread but claimed nobody had taken eggs, which was a complete lie. How does a huge hotel fail to manage its egg supply? This wasn’t just about the eggs or breakfast, though being left hungry before a full day of touring was a problem too. The real issue was how extremely rude she was. I believe she acted that way because she was racist. She yelled at me in front of everyone in the breakfast hall and wouldn’t even let me speak. I’ve never been treated like that in my life. Please come to Turkey. You’ll enjoy some of the world’s most delicious and varied breakfasts, and experience Turkish kindness and hospitality. I want this woman fired. She had no right to treat us that way.

I picked this hotel for its more original Austrian hunting lodge style, and it matched what I expected for the price. The room was clean and basic but functional. I had a rental car, so the location worked for me. Some features are dated and there’s no elevator, but that’s clear in the overview. I drove to Seestandt station, parked, and took the U2 into the city, which worked well. The rooms have full bathtubs you have to step into to shower, so be careful. It’s not a short drive to the airport, since the hotel is on the other side of the Danube.

For the price, this is a very nice 3* hotel with good value. The rooms are clean, and there’s some noise when guests close their doors or wheel luggage along the hallway. I gave it full points because too many people rate it lower than it deserves, with complaints like the breakfast plates being too small. Just take two plates if you like, or fill one ten times. Others complain there’s no elevator, but it’s a two-level building. Bus Nr 520 and the U2 metro will take you to the city center.
