Haus Haarlehen

We’ve been spending our ski week in the Edelweiss holiday apartment for years, and it feels like home. The kitchen is fully equipped, with a comfortable dining and sitting area, and the apartment has everything we need. Its location is excellent, just a short walk from the Kieserlbergbahn cable car. From the living room and both bedrooms, you can step onto the balcony and take in fantastic mountain views.

The children loved getting to pet and feed the farm animals. They even learned where milk, eggs, and meat come from, which was a valuable experience, and the many ride-on toys kept them happy too. We also enjoyed the homemade honey, jam, and sausages, which make nice souvenirs. Our apartment was clean, cozy, and very well equipped, and parking in the courtyard was especially handy. The location suits both summer hikes and winter skiing, with the valley station directly opposite. Hanne was always friendly and helpful, with good suggestions for hikes and other activities. We had a lovely stay and would be happy to return.

The gondola is right across the road, with shops and restaurants close enough to walk to. The apartments are roomy and well furnished, and the beds are very comfortable. You can have fresh bread and rolls delivered each day, and there are various farm products for sale. Parking and ski storage are available too. It’s a wonderful farm holiday in either summer or winter, with cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, cows, chickens, and a pony named Sissy, plus a big playground.

We were two people and felt very comfortable in the apartment. It’s charmingly furnished and well kept, and the breakfast was a real pleasure. The Lainer family, who run Haarlehen Farm, are very friendly and happy to help with any questions. We can wholeheartedly recommend a stay here.
