Our one-bedroom apartment was beautiful, and the lake views were completely unobstructed since the property sits right on the shore. We even spotted a woodpecker in a garden tree. The kitchen was very well equipped, and everything was spotlessly clean. The host was as welcoming and helpful as anyone could be. I loved the place.

We had a great stay in an apartment that was clean, comfortable, and well equipped, right in the middle of paradise. Mr. Herbert was kind and supportive throughout. We felt very at home here, and the owners were friendly and helpful. Haus Paradies am See (Paradise by the Lake) is right on Lake Grundlsee, with a few steps leading from the apartment to its own small lawn. The cozy apartment is exceptionally clean, thoughtfully furnished, and has everything you need. From the living and dining area’s balcony, you get a direct view of the lake and mountains. There’s hiking, boat trips on the lake, and Hallstatt is only 20 minutes away. We’d love to come back. 😊

The wood scent in the well-kept, clean, charming apartments lingered long after our visit, and the kitchen had everything. Haus Paradies really does feel like paradise, right by the lake with its own private access. The owners are incredibly friendly and always happy to offer advice. We’ll definitely return, if the accommodation is still available in this condition. I almost didn’t want to review it, since good places should stay secret and avoid mass tourism, but here goes. One small thing: the internet needs improvement. Upload was under 1 MB/s and download was 8 MB/s. I had to work during the stay, so that wasn’t very pleasant.
