It felt warm and homey, with a clean, well-furnished room and an amazing mountain view. Sitting on the balcony with coffee, surrounded by genuine Austrian wood craftsmanship, was relaxing and gave me a positive energy boost. The people were welcoming and nice, and the breakfast room was beautiful.

We had a wonderful week skiing in Hochötz with the Grundl family. The facilities were excellent, breakfast was plentiful, and our hosts were very friendly. We'd love to return! 🌸

The owners were very friendly, and the apartment was modernly furnished and very nice. There's plenty of parking, though the spaces are a bit tight for larger vehicles. We always managed, and the location was excellent for hiking and climbing nearby.

Haus Gisela was a great base for my five days of motorcycle touring around the Ötztal Valley and nearby areas. The room looked fantastic, the owners were incredibly friendly, and breakfast was excellent. The location was another plus: a bus stop about 50 meters away gets you practically anywhere in the Ötztal Valley, and just a few meters farther on there's a fantastic restaurant for lunch or dinner. I'd love to come back.
