We came for some peace and quiet, and the calm feel around Berghotel Gerlosstein in summer was just right. There are beautiful walks starting nearby, and after our hike we loved unwinding in the sauna. The staff gave us such a warm welcome that we felt at home straight away. Breakfast was delicious, and the evening dinners were more than filling. The setting feels like a little paradise, with stunning views all around. We had a fantastic stay and would gladly recommend it as a place to enjoy nature and relax.

The food was great, and the atmosphere was amazing. Staff were really helpful too. We had a private room for 40 at night, and Taxi Alex Zillertal provided a great ride there and back. Just loved being here.

We only meant to stay one night to see the Perseid meteor shower, but ended up spending three. It's incredibly peaceful, and the starry sky at night was lovely. The views are breathtaking, with hiking trails of all levels nearby and little alpine huts selling amazing farm products. The owners and staff are so friendly and do their best to make you comfortable. The place feels cosy and family friendly. Everything, from the rooms to the restaurant and other premises, is immaculately clean, smells good, and has traditional Tyrolian decor. Breakfast was delicious, and I'd definitely recommend the four course dinner. A wonderful spot for hiking, climbing, skiing, sledding, or just taking in the mountain scenery.

I was there for one night last August, and I'll never forget it. Everything was perfect, and Mrs. Magdalena and her family made me feel like part of the family instead of a guest. The weather and the peaceful setting were amazing. I'll definitely come again. The photos say it better than I can! One note for your safety: don't come at night. I've attached a photo showing the road to the hotel 😓

The hotel and its surroundings are lovely, and the view from here is superb. The service is friendly too. I come mainly to eat, though, and I'm always a little let down by the selection and the food quality. I'd expect more compared with the hotel itself.
